Official catalog of the exhibition "The Timeless Imagination of Yves Klein: Uncertainty and the Immaterial," to be held at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa from October 1, 2022 to March 5, 2011.

From the 1950s to the early 1960s, Yves Klein created numerous masterpieces in just over 34 years of his life. He is especially known for the blue pigment "International Klein Blue," which he developed himself, and for his "Anthropometry" series.
This exhibition focuses on these works, along with works by contemporary artists such as Lucio Fontana, Kazuo Shiraga of Japan, Tomas Saraceno, and Haroon Mirza, who were also active in the same period. The exhibition highlights the theme of "immateriality" that runs through each work, transcending time.

This book introduces the exhibition with numerous visuals, including photographs of the works and installation of the exhibition. The book also includes a number of interviews with Emma Lavine, organizer of the exhibition "The Sky as a Studio. Yves Klein and his contemporaries" (Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, 2020), which inspired this exhibition; Yuko Hasegawa, curator of this exhibition; and Frédéric Migueloux, director of the Former Deputy Director of the Musée National d'Art Moderne, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris), and others, as well as a detailed chronology.
